Find out why Rathnamanjari, a movie based on true-events cannot be missed at the theatres

Produced by Kannadigas from the NRI community, Rathnamanjari is set to release worldwide on the 17th of this month. The motion poster, songs and the recently released trailer have all impressed the audience and has increased the expectations surrounding the movie.

The movie is based on a murder which happened in USA a few years ago and the director of the movie Prassidh has given a horror touch to the incident. Despite being in the early stages of his career, Prasiddh has made sure Rathnamanjari is laden with a few of his trademark elements.

The script required new faces and accordingly, newbies Raj Charan and Akhila Prakash have been cast in this movie. It is to be noted that both these debutantes have got their skills fine-tuned under the mentorship of Nagatihalli Chandrasekhar.

40% of the movie has been shot in USA while the rest of the portions are set in Malaysia and Coorg. As seen from the teasers and the songs, the makers have made an attempt to highlight the Kodava culture through their product.

Legendary music-director Naadabramha Hamsalekha’s assistant Harshavardan has composed the music for the film and going by the views the songs have already generated on YouTube, Harshavardhan has done a fine job in the film.

S Sandeep Kumar and Nataraj Halebeedu, Kannadigas from the NRI community in USA have jointly produced this movie under the banner Sharavathi Films and SNS Cinema USA. Rathnamanjari is all set to release across the globe on May 17th.
